Notes on Memoidealism (1.16)

Saturday, May 31st, 2014

In the book “Memory, History, Justice in Hegel” Angelica Nuzzo discusses absolute memory of Hegel’s Sprit and how it reconciles personal and collective memories and manifested in creations of art and other works and representations. In Memoidealism Memory can be considered as Sprit itself as in hyper-dialectical triad. Also in Memorianity (memory religion) Memory consists of memories (Memorianic Prophecy 0m3). The notion of different representations of Memory at large was proposed as parameterized science (Memory Dump Analysis Anthology, Volume 3, page 301),

Dialectical Triad in Memoidealism

Saturday, May 31st, 2014

-> Dream -> Reality -> Memory -> (as past, present, and future in Hegelian philosophies of Cieszkowski and Feuerbach). Memory as synthesis of dreams and reality. Together with two other triads (Memory -> Dream -> Reality and Reality -> Memory -> Dream) constitutes a hyper or super dialectical triad for shifting memories that represents Memory as a foundation or “Sprit”.

Notes on Memoidealism (1.15)

Monday, February 24th, 2014

We continue publishing new notes here. The previous ones can be found scattered in various volumes of Memory Dump Analysis Anthology. This note concerns neutral monism.

Memoidealism states that reality is of one kind: Memory. It may be neither mental (e.g. cognitive memory, digital memory), nor physical (memory of things, memuons) and ultimately be of something neutral. Therefore, one strand of Memoidealism can also be viewed as neutral monism, a kind of monistic metaphysics. ThereĀ are some philosophers considered as neutral monists such as Baruch Spinoza, Ernst Mach, Richard Avenarius, William James, Bertrand Russell, Kenneth Sayre, and others. More on neutral monism can be found here.

Entropy as Memory and Memory as Entropy

Wednesday, February 19th, 2014

Letter transformations sometimes may play the role of analogies and metaphors. One is Mass and Energy and the other is Memory and Entropy. And so we postulate the equivalence between Memory and Entropy where have an equivalence transformation similar to the famous equation E=mc2 which can be written as E=|M|x, where |M| is some not yet specified measure of a Memory container (may be similar to a set-theoretical cardinality). Here we can also write mc as an abbreviation of a memory container. This transformation is illustrated on the following picture:

Memoevolutionism

Tuesday, February 18th, 2014

This is a further development of Memoidealism that combines memory as ontology and evolution as its development process. Memory defects and/or memory symmetry breaking provide the source of variation. There is a similar sounding philosophy of Veller called Energoevolutionism which came to my attention and prompted me to incorporate evolution too. I’m working on such extension and come back with additional thoughts.
